Cleaning a Swimming Pool
If you have a pool in your garden you are very lucky but remember that a swimming pool must be maintained and cared, because it can also be a health hazard due to infections and fungi. In fact, leaves, dirt, hair, insects and dust settle very easily on the bottom of the swimming pool. Therefore, it is important to clean it regularly by using a robot or those special vacuum machines that perform all the work independently, or by using the most economical but effective brush cleaner valves, or simply a net. There is also a fourth possibility that is the hydraulic cleaner: a middle ground between a mud aspirator and Dolphin robot cleaners.
In this article we will see how all these systems work.
Swimming-pool Leaf Rakes
Obviously, it has some limits since you are not able to collect the dirt or silt deposited on the bottom just using a net. Nevertheless, it is excellent for removing leaves and debris from the bottom and from the surface.
Usually it is used before or after the vacuum that removes smaller debris.
Pool Vacuum Brush
Its use is very simple: attach the brush at one end of the tube, then insert the other end of the tube the outlet hole of a skimmer or in a special built-in plug of your swimming-pool. Immerse it in the water and at this point, if there is not much air in the pump, the vacuum should already operate. However, if the pump has got too much air inside it won't work, then you need to remove the hose from the skimmer, wait for the air to get out of the pump, and try again. You can avoid this problem by pouring water in the hose: don't worry, it will float anyway. To have your vacuum more powerful, close the little valve under the skimmer. After cleaning your pool, remember to clean the pump basket and the filter as well.
Swimming-pool Robot Cleaner
Using a robot cleaner is definitely the most comfortable way to have your pool perfectly cleaned without making any effort. There are various models, more or less sophisticated. The best ones are those with remote control and which able to climb the pool's walls. Nevertheless, many experts say that it is also the worst method considering the results since the level of accuracy is very low. Moreover, these robots are quite expensive. But if you really don't have time to clean the pool manually, make sure that your robot has a good filtration system.
Hydraulic Suction Pool Cleaner
Automatic pool cleaners use the hydraulic force to work. The hydraulic cleaner and the brush cleaner operate in the same way, so they are subject to the same problems, for instance you must be sure that there is no air in the pump so that it can work properly.
Now, you can choose the best method for you. It doesn’t matter whether you choose to spend a few ponds of to make a real investment buying the most technological robot. What matters is that you remember to clean your swimming-pool and to treat the water properly. Get more information about swimming-pool disinfection.
