Where can I buy cheap tools for plumbers?

Hi, my wife and I are doing up our bathroom since we love DIY. Moreover, we have decided to spare money for our summer holidays so we are going to do everything on our own: painting the walls, installing bathroom fittings and so on. Anyway, we need to buy materials and tools. In particular I think we need some plumber tools. Where can I find them without spending too much?

There are many websites such as preloved.co.uk where you can buy second hand materials, including drain tools and plumber kits. I think it's a good idea, especially if you are not a professional and you don't need particular tools.

Anyway, installing bathroom fittings is not a joke. And probably calling a real plumber would be better. But if you are determined to do it by yourself, pay attention that everything is perfectly fixed or in short your house will be flooded.

On Amazon I found a great offer: a plumber kit and a right angle drill with d-handle for £ 150. I think it was a bargain. You can find many drain cleaning equipment and tools in Renoline, a specialised store in London selling products online too.

I'm quite expert since I've been called to help friends with plumbing problems so many times! I suggest you to buy a plumber tool kit with 18 pieces: it is a manageable plastic box suitable for DIY works. It includes a hammer, a spanner, pliers, pipe cutters and all you will need for your work. The price of this set is about £ 25 that is not much, especially if you consider that buying the tools separately is much more expensive.
