Where can I find a customised replacement sofa bed mattress?

Hello, I have a very comfortable sofa bed but its mattress is getting old and I think t would be better to replace it. Do you think it's possible to find a new mattress fitting my sofa? I'm afraid it won't be easy since my sofa is out of production and I don't know if someone produces custom-tailored sofa bed mattresses in London. Alternatively, do you have any suggestions and tips in the event that I can't find the mattress and I decide to buy a new sofa bed? Thank you.

I haven’t been able to find a replacement mattress for my sofa bed in London, but if you surf the web you can find factories in Essex, Gloucester or Dorset producing this item. The delivery is very quick and free and if you are not satisfied you can be refunded. Normally you can choose among different sizes. Therefore, have a look at the length and width of your sofa bed because you will hardly find someone making a customised sofa bed mattress.

I think that if your old sofa is still good, it's better to look for a replacement mattress. That would be the most ecological choice. Otherwise I suggest you to have a look at the futon sofa beds: they are comfortable, light and even fashionable. Moreover, they are completely natural. Another solution I like are storage sofa beds, since you can keep sheets, covers and pillows in the underneath storage. Avoid leather because it's too hot in summer and prefer a sleeper with cleanable cover.

I think it doesn't pay to replace the mattress. Nowadays, you can find many cheap and comfortable sleepers and sofa beds in Ikea, for example, or in other shops of interior design such as Lazy Boy.

I've just bought a convertible sofa bed produced by Bon Bon transformable into a bunk bed, a third pull out bed or an under bed storage. It is absolutely comfortable since it is an orthopaedic bed with beech wood slats and the mattress is made of foam. I love it! Look at the picture!
